Junior Guinea Pig
i took daisy yesterday to meet paddington as soon as she was put on the floor with him she was smelling him an following him everywhere he didnt seem to show any interest at all but he didnt get angry etc.
while we was there eddy was brought in he went straight to daisy made the rumble noise and tryed to mount her daisy stood like a status the lady picked eddy up and daisy ran straight back to paddington and stood right next to him (like leaning on him).
we brought them home and put them in a run for a few hours he was very nervous and only mainly stood about but she kept running up to him smelling him and sniffing under is chin ocasionally he would like push her away useing his nose this was happening for hours. They did go to sleep next to each other(i think he was happy daisy went to sleep as he had a bit of peace
)
later on we put them in the cage together and for about 4 hours it was the same thing paddington would go in the green igloo ,daisy would just stand about by the opening of the igloo making chatting noises he would pop his head out they would sniff each other he would do a deep rumble noise and go back in the igloo , then he would come out and they would sniff each other paddington would do the rumble daisy would sort of put her back end up in the air and paddington would popcorn around then daisy would start popcorning around the cage. All this went on for hours but in the end i could tell paddington wanted to sleep and daisy wouldnt come away from the entry to his igloo she was watchin him then make a noise then popcorn then back to the entry to see him she did try to go in a few times and then run straight back out, so i split the cage and in the end daisy finally went in her own igloo and went to sleep
. i took the seperater out the cage today but they have both been in there seperate igloos most the day and daisy as been out eating etc but paddinton is just makeing the rumbling noises but i dont think he as realy been out.
sorry how long this post is but do you think everything is ok ? as i dont know anything about getting them to like each other but i have done what they told me from paddingtons foster home
i will hopefully had some piks on later of them
