My girl got put to sleep. This is going to sound silly but I feel like I failed her although there was nothing else that I could do for her.
Sleep tight baby my little fighter.
 
So sorry for your loss.
Feeling as you failed her is a normal part of grieving.
Remember though that having her put to sleep was the last gift of love you could give her.
Be gentle with yourself now as you grieve
 
I’m so sorry that you were called upon to make that tough decision. You did not fail her, but it’s natural to wonder what we could have done differently. Please be kind to yourself. Big hugs.
 
I am so sorry for your loss. I understand your feeling that you failed her, you didn't, be kind to yourself and give yourself time to grieve.
 
Thank you for all your kind messages. I lost my oldest fish ever yesterday so it's kind if getting to me. Oldest fish and oldest guinea pig in the space of one day.

I always think that animals are so lucky that they can have that option to be put to sleep, where as us humans have to suffer with horrible cancers and what not. Dont feel bad . Sorry for your loss
 
Yes I supposed so. It's horrible but she was a breathing corpse by the end
 
so sorry for your loss. I know it's painful but it's natural to question yourself. I've put myself through hell sometimes even though I know deep down I did my best. Try to be kind to yourself.

I've been there 4 times before but only one had to be put down before daisy
