Damp environment?

I have just acquired two guinea pigs , which are currently kept inside the conservatory...they will be going into a shed once the weather warms a little.My worry is that we live in a damp area..ie atmosphere especially with all the rain we have as there are several trees around us...could this be detrimental to the piggies OR if their home is dry and snug should they be ok.
They will be in a hutch in the shed with bedroom etc.....
