Heya all, I opened my Timothy hat and it seems a little damp, not a lot just feels well not as dry as normal. Are they still ok to eat this?

Does it smell musty? If it does then don't feed it to them. It may just be a bit of condensation in the bag where it has been hot. If it doesn't smell funny (it should smell nice and fresh) take it out of the yukky plastic and pop it in an old pillowcase or similar so that the air can get around it.

I've just had to bin a 5 kg bag. I think the recent heat has made the hay sweat in the plastic bags. My new order is now stored under my bed instead of the shed!
