This is really random, but what should piggy poo be like? I have noticed that recently the boys have had 'damp' poo - that's the only way I can describe it lol. It is still well-formed, just sticks to the fleece more than usual. They are pooing normally, not in pain when going or anything and they are still going loads. They get veg twice a day, should I limit to once to see how they get on?

They get a wide variety - lettuce, cucumber, carrots, broccoli, kale, peppers, cabbage, coriander, parsley, pak choi, the occasional apple. Not all in the same day or every day of course! I try to alternate what they get each day so they don't get too much calcium etc.

Nope I can't find it but it was really good. Some poo can be slippery than others, but if you are in ay doubt, reduce the veg. I used to feed veg twice a day, however I now do this once a day, encourage them to eat more hay to be honest.

How often are you cleaning their fleece?
I only ask because really fresh poo can be a bit 'sticky' but it quickly dries out, and shouldn't stick to their fleece.
Maybe if you clean a lot you are noticing the poos before they have time to dry out?

That's funny you say that, on the mornings where I have been rushing for work and not had time to cut up veggies, they have always seemed to eat more hay. I am trying only giving them veg in the evenings now, so we will see if that helps.

I usually clean it in the morning before work and then when I come back from work and sometimes before I go to bed. It could be that but when I come back from work they are still kind of damp.

I'm wondering now if it was the fleece. I was using fleece and puppy pads and I never felt like it was particularly effective, or at least not as effective as i would like. They pee a lot (and also mark their territories alot!) and no matter how often i changed the puppy pads it still felt a bit damp. I ordered them proper fleece liners and have just started using them today so we will see if that also helps.
