Just wondered - our piggies are now in a hutch outside, one with a run underneath and a ramp that can be closed off at night. With the shower of rain we have had this morning the slabs under the run (that they would walk on) are now quite damp. Are they still ok to have a run on it or should I keep the ramp closed off until it dries out? Sorry if this is a daft question, I wasn't sure about their little feet :-\ 98) :)

I'm sure thats fine :) My buns and piggies run about on wet slabs and dont get any problems. Just makesure there are hideys with floors etc down in the run too ;)

I would have thought it was Ok. Just make sure there are no slugs hanging around :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff:

ok thanks, I suppose I was just being over cautious worrying about them getting sore feet but it seems a shame for them to only have the hutch part, especailly as this weather is supposed to come back with a vengeance next week :tickedoff: I'll let them enjoy it before the storms come - thanks all O0

If our slabs are damp I put newspaper in half the run so they've got the option to sit on there instead if they want. I don't think it's a daft question at all, I think it's sweet that you're concerned about their ickle tootsies! :)
