Dandelion Leaves!?!

At last ... an excuse for the crop of Dandelions we have growing wild in our garden ... wee Freddie loves them! Picked some leaves this afternoon, washed and paper-towel dried them and presented them to the wee fella. He was so excited and gobbled them up immediately. (He doesn't like the actual flowers though). Kept one leaf back to give him as a bedtime treat later.

I encourage the dandelions to grow in my in garden, as well as the piggies loving them I think they are so pretty

l store them in plastic crates that you get mushrooms and vegs in. l get for free from village store,in doors last for winter treats, this was the frist picking,will do 4 -5 more of sping growth,then again for the summer growth.the crowns are hung for about a week to dry.and the loose leaves and flowers on the rack and tuned dayly till dry.

mine think that l'm the mad piggie lady! often come home to bags of vegs and weeds on my front gate.
people stand at front gate watching the small herd in the front yard.
