Dandelions

Okay so I am excited...my work has a garden free from pets and pesticides and big juicy colorful dandelions growing...! Now my little two bundles of trouble have never had these. ..how many is good to give at any one time...can you leave them a day or two after picking and still feed them and can they eat the leaves and the flower? thanks

I would give a small amount, maybe 2 or 3 leaves each or if you have a group of piggies a complete dandelion with root & flower. Some of mine love the flowers & milky stem others prefer the leaves but as a group they eat the lot. You can keep them in the fridge just like lettuce or other veggies
