Dandelions

This is a kind of random question, i want to pick a few dandelions for my pigs as a treat but it hailstoned abit last night and now the flowers are closed up and dont look very tasty. Are the dandelions now dead? or will the flower open back up once the sun comes back out?
I don't want to feed them dead flowers of course

Yep they love the flowers. I think dandelion is my pigs' favourite treat!

My dad keeps telling me to pull up the roots when I do some weeding, but I want the weeds to grow back!
