Dandelions?

What is the recommended daily allowance for dandelions leaves and flowers? As my pig will eat them till she pops lol
 
As lush as piggies think they are, they're quite deuretic so only feed a little bit a day. Maybe a little bit every wheek! Hope this helps :))
 
Dandelions are fairly high in calcium and are mildly diuretic, so if your piggy loves them so much, I would compensate with feeding veg that is high in water and low in calcium, and make sure that she has access to water at all times.

If you feed in the hutch or cage, I would not give more than one plant per day.
 
My boy loves them too until we found out the were high in calcium. Our boy is on the C: pa ratio diet and we incorparate the dandelion leaves into his menu which he loves.

Why is all the things they love are high in calcium! ?/
