I wasn't sure whether to put this in health and illness or behaviour so i'll put it here. Please move it if it's in the wrong place.
Basically, my neighbour has been feeding the girls over the weekend whilst we have been in Nottingham. Anyway, when I came to shut them up last night, Connie was making strange noises (not horrible or pain noises) just normal chirp noises that were deeper and more wobbly sounding than normal and Eliza was rumbling. I took them out of their hutch and brought them indoors. Chris held Connie and I held Eliza and they seemed fine. I noticed however, that Eliza had dandruff on her fur. I checked her skin and it is a nice normal colour and she hasn't been scratching. I was then concerned that she could have mites but surly if she did, she would be scratching and have dark pink skin etc? After about 20 minutes, we put them back in their hutch. I stood outside the shed and could hear them making the strange noises for a few minutes until it went silent and they must have settled down for the night. This morning however, they are acted normal. They were laying side by side first thing and have eaten their breakfast with no problems. I have also checked them both over and the dandruff has completely gone from Eliza's fur. I am now very confused at what could be going on? Any idea's?
