I have got my second guinae piggy! Her name is Dandylion and she's an absynian (sp?) and still a baby. She was born on 17th March. She's a little shy and Acorahs had a good snuffle before getting bored and wandering of. Sandylion is now sat on my lap purring as I stroke her. Her fur is so soft! Anyway photos comming soon! The ones I just took are too blurry to post.
 
Awwwwh, My preggy piggie gave birth this morning. :) Have you got any pigtures of you r new piggie? x
 
I'm working on them, but Dandy is snuffling as far into me as possable and acorah was hogging the lime light. They seem to be getting along well, but Acorah hates being cooped up too long and she's been cooped up all day so won't sit still and get along with Dandylion.

Dandylion is my happy word, so hopefully she will be Acorahs happy friend too. She's brown and black.
 
She sounds nice, would love to see a pigture! I love pigtures :D heehee

So your pig is almost 4weeks old, awwwwh sweet. I love them when they're little
 
Actually being born on the 17th makes her 1 month 3 weeks and a day
 
Sorry as I say she won't hold still. She's beautiful. She has little whirls (?) that remind me of dandylion heads :P
 
isn't she just? My mums fascinated by the way Dandylions fur whirls!
 
not really. She likes smaller piggies, they're not threatening to her you see. So long without company because of poorlyness. She likes to play with her, but she also likes to be on her own. So not motherly, more big sister.
 
aww I guess it'll take her sometime :) You have to go out working often? If you don't mind me asking.. When they are alone I'm sure they'll turn to eash other for comfort :)
 
I'm a part time model so I don't go out every day on schedual, and when I do work here it's usually only for a few hours. It's when I go to London for two weeks that they need each other. Because even though my sister looks after her Acorah doesn't get anywhere near the attention she usually does.

Yeah, it's so hard being away from them so much. But on the other hand I get to see my bloke, and when I'm with my piggies I'm usually not seeing him.
 
awww, she looks gorgeous and love the name :D. glad you found a friend for acorah

She's adorable. I've never had a spiky furry piggy before. I wanna snuggle her -watches her sister snuggle-

Thank you! I didn't even know what an abby was till today -watches her with delight- they're sat together in the cage.
 
Didn't know what an Abby was! :o Probably my favourite guinea breed. Anyway she looks stunning from the photos. I am sure Acorah and Dandylion will be the best of friends in no time. Congratulations and well done for finding Acorah a friend. :)

P.S. Just a bit of useful information, the whirls are known as rosettes. ;)
 
hehe I didn't even know there were different breeds until my mum bought from P@H. My god sisters piggy was american short hair and my piggy+family are american short hair so I thought that's all there was. Then mum started buying from P@H and I started shopping there instead of middletons and my eyes were opened to lotsa breeds, not thattt I knew any breed names till today. I asked my sister what Breed Acorah was because I'm updating my website and Acorahs page needs updating and Dandylion needs a page :)

oooh rosettes. Thanks. My mum calls it 'mad hair' and guess what now there are 10 piggies...on teusday mums going back for dandylions sister and calling her maddy! :P guinea [pigs out the ears!!
 
I don't...I have two and that's enough. I was happy with one but it wasn't fair on Acorah.
My mum has an addiction. You know those old ladys with lots cats of cats? My mums gonna turn into one...only with guinae pigs.
