Dark coloured nipple after surgery

Heya all. My guinea pig, Sugar, had a surgery to remove a mammary tumor a long while ago (I can't remember exactly, 5+ months ago) and ever since one of her nipples have been black. She doesn't seem to be in any pain when you touch it and she's a very happy, energetic girl, but I thought I better check anyways. She's going to be 4 in September. Thanks!

If you are concerned, then get in touch with the vet who removed the mammary tumour and ask their advice!

We will if she seems to be in pain, but right now, she seems okay. I was just curious if anyone else had a similar experience. Thanks for your reply :)
