Hi, my guinea pig is now 2 months old having been heand reared and have noticed today that his urine is rather dark and that is downstairs areas seem quite dried up. I am thinking that this is possibly due to the fact that he isn't drinking enough, but would like to run it by you in case you feel it is anything serious and whether he should go to the vets, happy healthy and eating fine in himself.

Looks like normal dirty bum. The urine looks this way as the wood shavings have soaked it up.

Try putting your little one in a plastic container to see what colour the urine actually is. And if your at all worried then give the vet a call and book an appoint.
