Dark poops!

My piggies poops have recently become much darker in colour.

I have recently changed their hay (although I am not sure they like it much yet :{)

Also, I have recently been adding Burgess Excel nuggets into the P@H brand one as I am trying to switch them over.

Could this be anything to do with it? Should I be worried?

I have found, when i bought my first pigs from PAH a few years ago their poo was very light in colour. They were changed over to the Excel diet straight away and their poos turned darker. If they are still nicely formed and they are well in themselves i really wouldnt worry too much. Just keep an eye.

I found exactly the same - mine all have nice dark poops now, having been fed on Excel blackcurrent and oregano, plus a small amount of muesli, plenty of hay and greens.
