Hi there, I’ve noticed my piggies are having a lot of dark poos, they’re not soft just dark. The poo is their regular size and shape

Dark poos can be caused by a lot of green veg, like broccolli and spinach. The poos that piggies need to eat ate also usually quite dark. If the poos are the usual size and shape and texture this is probably fine, you could restrict green veg for a couple of days and see if this is the cause, but if its just the colour nothing else it is probably fine just diet related.

They do have broccoli, cucumber and coriander daily so that could be it. I’ll try that thank you xx

They shouldnt really have broccolli daily as its quite high calcium and can often make them a bit gassy, coriander and cucumber are usually fine daily but broccolli is more a small amount once a week type of food!

Hi!

I agree that darker poos are usually caused by more veg in their food intake. Just scale down a bit the amount you are feeding and see whether that is doing the trick over the coming days.
