Dash's change in appetite.

Hello, my 5-year-old plus Boar "Dash " has always been a voracious fresh vegetable eater.
In the last 10 days or so he will just nibble on them, yet his hay and pellet consumption has increased. He's also crazy for pea flakes.
Other than that, he is his usual self, active and curious. Has anyone else experienced this type of change in their guinea pigs?

Do you feed a variety of veg? I’m just wondering whether he has got a bit bored of his usual veggies?

The best thing is to switch to daily weight checks so you can be sure enough hay is definitely being eaten.

Make sure not to let his pellet consumption increase at all.

Hello ..Yes I have always given him a variety of veggies ( Romaine, Cucumber, Carrot ,celery, coriander, bell peppers, parsley). Cucumbers have always been his favorite. I will heed your advice on the pellets and see if he goes back to his veggies. Thank You
