I noticed today that Dave's back legs are very red underneath, they are usually pinky but today looked rather sore. They haven't had any change in living environment. What could it be? And should i put some kind of cream or something on them?

This is best picture i could get of his leg. Both back legs are the same.

My piggies upper legs are generally pink as well. Has the colour changed recently? Hopefully others can give further advice.

If you are worried, you can put a bit of bepanthen cream from the pharmacy on them or get some happy soles cream from http://www.gorgeousguineas.com/

It doesn't look really serious on your picture, but it's always worth keeping an eye on it.

I've had success with Perfect Paws for red feet like this. :)

Inactivity and heat are two reasons for unusual redness of the feet.
