He’s going to keep me company (not the other way round!) while I work 😚View attachment 224843
Aw he is so handsome, and almost the identical twin of our little 11 week old boar Dantyllew, but Dante has 3 ginger feet and just 1 chocolate one :)

This is Dante in the playpen today talking to his gorgeous chocolate sheltie mummy Hilda through the bars :)

He really is  Maybe he’s Toffee’s brother from another mother. They do look very similar though your handsome Dante is lighter. And Toff has all dark chocolate feet.

ETA:

My daughter had a birthday party. I ended up just dropping her off so had Toffee out again with me. He seemed to like it, I know I certainly did! I did have to wake him from a nap to take him back out.

Another thing is he doesn’t now run away when I go to pick him up.

On another note, I dried some forage for the piggies yesterday. Sow thistle, sticky weed, herb Robert and nettles. The latter had been drying a couple of days but I was still stung by the stem! Things we do eh 🙄 It’s not going to last long at all though, they already emptied the bag! I’ll need to get some cow parsley from the allotment that backs onto the garden. Then I need to try and collect some more sow thistle and herb Robert before the husband clears it! I wish there’s somewhere I could go to pick bagfuls. IMG_7786.webp

Toffee has really been enjoying his naps these days. Caught him zonked out with his eyes closed earlier. When I decided to take a picture, he decided to switch to death napping!

Yesterday he slept through my husband cutting off the shade board…with an electric saw! Love him 😍

Me too 😍 He has done it in the past, and out in the open too ☺️

An electric (pretty noisy) saw and hammering on their hutch didn’t stop him napping yesterday either. He didn’t stir once! 😳

We have made lots of progress with Zac! He still runs off at the slightest movement (and seems to have influenced Chanel!) but will now come to the grids if I’m giving them a pinch of grass. He also comes for his lettuce leaf in the morning as well, rather than wait for me to Chuck it in. Granted he stretches and approaches cautiously but progress is progress 😁

I have noticed Toffee naps a lot now. Yesterday, he napped for about 10-15mins straight. We went outside but it didn’t disturb him. His birthday is on Wednesday and he’ll be 6.

Today I sat next to the hutch. Zac decided to sleep in the doorway from the ‘bedroom’ area to the main area. That’s until I moved (trying to take a picture) and be shot off! He’s a fast, rumbly boar he is! I caught Chanel napping quite a bit as well.

Had a quick cuddle with Zac when I got him out to trim his nails. He fought like a trooper but looks like I didn’t set him back too much. He’s been coming to get his first piece of veg and lettuce from me. Small wins 😊

@furryfriends (TEAS) I'm not used to such a chonky pig! Even when the boys were in their prime, they didn’t feel this solid.
That family are all very muscular piggies. We've still got Buster, who is related to Zac. He now lives with Shelly and Clover. He's also a very solid piggy!

Interesting. Do you know what their dad and mum are/were like?
