Dead leaves?

Just wondering if it is harmful for a piggy to eat dead leaves?

I put him out on the patio to have a run around and he was having a good nibble on them.

I moved him away but he kept hunting them out so I blocked off the bit near the fence where they were. I think he found them quite tasty :{

hmm i don't know better to be safe than sorry and the leaves in general might not be safe for piggies whether they are dead or not x

When I let my piggies roam the garden, they often go for the dead leaves first. So far (after several years), I've never had bad experiences. They stay off plants that are really bad for them - they usually taste bad to them, anyway!

The only thing I'd be wondering about is what kind of leaves they were, as opposed to the fact that they were dead leaves.
Bales of hay get the occasional dead leaf in them.
