The bad news is you aren't going on holiday. I'm sorry. You won't be getting to spend a week in a strange (albeit lovely) hutch in a kind person's garage.

Good news - Nanna and Grandad are coming to stay!

:yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

My mother in law is a bit stunned that the gruesome twosome have got under her skin and it turns out she quite likes them. And she has been worrying about them going into boarding when we go away. My father in law had said no to them going to stay with them and there was no reasoning with him (and to be fair, I didn't try, it's his house, our pigs, our problem, his right to say no). Anyway, MIL waited until he was climbing into bed last night :xd: and asked him if they could come and spend the week at our house piggie sitting. And he agreed!

I'm so happy!

Great news!
It's such a worry isn't it?
And in an odd way small pets like Guinea Pigs are harder to sort out than a dog or a cat.
I have been having a similar dilemma trying to sort out holiday care for my lot, and just yesterday we found a local (ish) pet sitter with piggie experience who will visit our home while we are away. It was even reasonably priced (ish!) for Switzerland.

Yea the lil fuzzies have a way of growing on ppl. What good news, are you writing a handbook for her as a guide?
I'll do something but I have to pitch it right as it might scare her off! It will be the bare basics, I won't even be asking her to change the fleece (it's a week so a bit longer than I would like) as she is nervous about having to touch them. It will be fine though I'm sure.

Where is the bad news in any of this? I just see good news all round. Lucky piggies xx
