Hi there, I would like to make an outdoor secure area for my piggies for when the weather gets warmer. The area has a decking floor, which I don’t think will be comfy for their little feet and will be really awkward to keep clean.
I'm thinking of maybe covering the decking with fake grass...? Or does anyone have any other ideas?
Thank you

You could put down some puppy pads or fleece with something absorbent underneath.

:agr: to covering it as above. I wouldn’t put down fake grass as they are likely to chew it

I used linoleum in my piggie shed and then fleece bedding in summer and newspapers with Megazorb and hay in winter (easier to clean and keep dry).

If they are just going to be outside for an hour or two I would probably just pop down a fleece blanket and afterwards hose the deck off.
Chances are they will spend most of their time in their hides, as the real motivation for piggies to come out is usually food, so if they don't have access to grass they might shelter for much of the time.
So I would view it more as an outdoor floor time pen really.
