i have spent the weekend deep cleaning the front bedroom of the house. The herd went in to their pen in the living room whilst the cage was deep cleaned. Then the floor was mopped with F10 and every box and item wiped down or sprayed with F10. After it dried over night I slapped F10 on the other side of the room and left to dry.

The herd is on its 3rd bottle of Intrafungol as Lucky has one bit of ring worm remaining, but it’s clearing up. The herd has also had 3 doses of ivermectin drops as the vet said no harm would come of it. I think the end is in sight now with the ringworm, and I have gone through about £400 in the last four weeks. Everything has been dunked in F10, from feeding bowls to cleaners and to water bottles.

Everything except the piggies themselves that is. I was even thinking of washing in the stuff...

I know how you feel, the amount of F10 I have used over the past few months is unreal!

A new bottle of F10 200ml concentrate is on its way from Amazon. I have used about 120ml concentrate in three weeks, at least 90ml yesterday. I have filled my 500ml spray bottle up four times since Friday. The C&C cage was sprayed and left to dry five times since Friday...if any spores survive this, I am moving out!

Sounds like the end may be in sight. Keep it up. Hopefully the spores will all be exterminated.

Hopefully you've got it all under control now.

Thanks everyone.

Ringworm, twice since last December. It's driving me nuts.

So much so that the OH is planning on building a cabin starting in January. And that will become the piggy cabin. It will be damp proof, rodent proof, insulated , heated and electricity will be supplied. It will also be 16x8 feet to house the C&C cage and the bales of hay and all of the boxes of their stuff. There will be baby monitors set up, and later, cameras so I know that they are safe.

You must be exhausted! Well done though. Thankfully (touch wood) I’ve never had to deal with ringworm.
