I'm booking Indy into the vets tomorrow to have his teeth done. Is there anything I should make sure the vet does/doesn't do? Apparently they don't use GA and I know to make sure they do the back ones as its them that's causing the problem...is there anything else I need to know?

Thanks x

At least one hour before you take them into the vets....put them into the pet carrier and feed nothing but cucumber without the skin.((peel it off with a potato peeler if necessary)..So....no hay, no nothing...just peeled cucumber!. This cleans out the mouth to enable the vet to see properly.

I tried this last month and it was a real result for all of us! My vet could inspect both incisors and molars clearly (ie no green gunk) ...with no need for a GA.......and my piggie was happy too!

Ok thank you. It should be about the time I usually give them their veg so I'm sure he won't mind.
