What an awesome story- what great work you do at your sanctuary! This put a smile on my face this morning!

I am very pleased to report that Sooty was finally discharged from TEAS today and is now back home with PiggySweep......(thankfully his journey home was not as eventful as his journey up!)

Feeling quite emotional tonight....(tears of joy)...at such a fantastic outcome!

Sooty's history is testament to just how effective TEAS (Debbie) and Simon are together as a team...
.............and also to the courage of Piggy Sweep, who having already tried several vets, agreed to entrust him to a bunch of strangers (especially one with a dodgy car!) .

It's also testament to the resilience and determination of Sooty himself....he never gave up the fight!

Hoping there will be some piccies soon of the (now chunky) little fella himself...... back where he belongs.

Fantastic news :) Another reason why I love this forum and proves again how amazing piggy people are :)

I am really going to miss the little man, as he had become such a large presence here. He had the loudest voice and would shout for food every time he heard me about.

However, sending him home, fit and well is the best feeling in the world and makes all the hard work so worthwhile. Sooty has come on an amazing journey over the past two months, and I am absolutely delighted that he is now reunited with his family.
