Mmmmm pellet mush! When one of my lads had had some dental work done (an accident not a chronic problem like yours or one of my other boys), they wouldn't let him home because he wouldn't eat..... turns out he just doesn't like critical care! We gave him some mush made of his normal pellets and he wolfed the whole lot! We have learnt from that now so if any of them have dental work done they go to the vets with a little bag of powdered food that they like so we know they will eat!

Awwwwww x) x) He is such a cutie!

The first time my Peanut Butter had his teeth done I was advised to give him mushed pellets. Wouldn't touch them, but Hazelnut, who has perfect teeth, wolfed the lot down. Fortunately I discovered PB will eat as normal, he just has a little difficulty for the first few days figuring out how to pick up the food with shortened teeth, so I just have to help him by hand feeding a bit more.
