Hi my guinea pig had his front teeth burned at the vet nearly 3 weeks ago. He is still being syringe fed with critical care and syringe fed water. He will eat from us by hand but not by himself. Has anyone else had this problem. Thanks
Hi and welcome!
As I understand it, eating problems usually start with the back teeth, not the front, so burring the front teeth alone doesn't resolve the issue. If his molars have overgrown, it will be painful and make eating difficult.
Hopefully someone who can help will be able to answer in the morning. @furryfriends (TEAS) is the dental expert
Hope you can get your piggie eating, best of luck!
