Hi all.
Well, the weather here is awful. Its been chucking it down all day and has now gone dark and dull. I was going to bring Connie and Eliza in to the kitchen for the afternoon but because of the weather, i've decided to leave them in their hutch today. They were out in their outside run for most of the afternoon yesterday but I feel so guilty to them :( I have closed the outhouse door half way but when I look out of the kitchen window, I can see them peering out at the rain :( It doesn't matter about having the outhouse door half way open in the winter as it keeps them nice and cosy but it seem ridiculous having to do this in August! I just feel so guilty on days like today especially as its warm :(

I know how you feel, ours live inside, but i love putting them out in their runs. But even though they have a solid cover its still toooooo wet.

It cant be helped! I wish we could have a bit of summer. The kids are peering out at the rain too :))

Same here, had all girls out yesterday so I could at least open the door for the boys. Wanted to put the holiday boys out today but its like a lake in our garden at the mo. I just know that when I go and feed them all at 8pm its going to be awful as we have a lot of Gary's (snails) that come out in the rain! :{

I hate this weather i find it really depressing especially cos of the six weeks holidays the kids get bored we cant go anywhere really unless we get completely soaked

I's not nice this weather :( . I've been told I'm mad cause have freddys hutch under a gazebo just incase we get a heavy downpour lol.It's also good cause even if it does rain he can run round in his pen and i can play outside with him without getting wet :))

You are absolutely NOT mad, I think a gazebo is a brilliant idea and would be suitable for very hot weather as well as the wet.

Don't feel guilty! My boys live indoors and get to go outside when the weather is good, and boy have they been sulking over the last few days.

So I put them outside this morning (gorgeous weather) and I've just had to rescue them back indoors because of the nasty weather. I went to snatch them up from the part of their run that is covered, and guess where Patches was sitting?

In the drip! The one leak in their outside house and thats where he was sitting. ¬.¬ Daft piggies!
