dessertpigs

Our dessert piggies, (Tira-)Misu, Gelato and Mini Roll are recently bereaved. They lost their wonderful boar, Parkin after a sudden illness this week.
Today is the first day all pigs have gained weight since he passed- which is a big win. Especially as we're on a veg pause until their poos are less squishy, and we have two older ladies with health conditions.
The ladies are more frequently out and about, munching hay. Mini Roll is starting to rumble at Gelato- which is such a deep rumble compared with Parkin's quiet higher pitched rumble. It's a little surprising and funny to hear such a deep noise from her.
They are having their usual sow tiffs, but otherwise they are happy with each others company.
I'm so glad they are working things out without their boar distractions. As much as I would love to give another boar a home in the future- I don't think Misu will cope with another street such as a bond.
