Just noticed on the newspaper there's some poo that looks a little like diarrhoea, but I think it's just been weed in and stepped on trying to stand up for food. I've already checked all three bottoms and not one of them are dirty. Does anyone have any links or pictures to what general diarrhoea in guinea pigs look like? Thanks.

Diarrhea is the same as in humans - fluid instead of poos. In between you get the full range from soft poos, shapeless poos, splodges etc., but that is not diarrhea in the proper sense.

You need to see a vet asap as an emergency if you are dealing with fluid, dark, very smelly diarrhea; that is a life threatening condition. You may need to step in with syringe feeding water and fibre until you can have your piggy seen at the very earliest.
Complete Syringe Feeding Guide

If you are still dealing with poos, then it is usually enough to take your piggies off fresh veg for a day or two and see whether the poos firm up. Have any piggy checked by a vet promptly if symptoms persist or there is a deterioration/loss of appetite/weight/signs of discomfort an/or lethargy.

Re-introduce veg slowly and carefully in order to not upset a delicate tummy again.

They're all eating fine, and it doesn't smell strong and it doesn't look like fluid. It's possibly more the splodges if you wouldn't mind describing that a little more?

Splodges or cow pads are basically the stage when poos can't hold shape, but are not coming out as sheer fluid.

l find Fibraplex pro biotic very useful
a must have for my pig med chest

as said above it important you see a vet, and if it contiues perhaps ask vet
to have a poo sample sent to his lab to culture .

if it continues dehidration is quite possibale
might be an idear to get a product cauled Avipro Plus , it is a wite powder that mixes with water to make
a nureshing syring drink that conains very important re hydration salts

another thing l always have on my med cabinate

hi, you may be able to get them at a good pet shop, though though Amazon or ebay

The Avipro plus is very important, as once pig starts to dehidrate , it is very impotant to re hydrte , this product can literaly be a life saver.

if you place your order on amizon to night ,it should be with you by retun post

what is he beded on? vetbed would be ideal, but if on conventional , make sure his bum is keped
as cleen and dry as possebale ,
encorage him to eat hay,
warmth is very important, as a dehidrated animal loses body heat quickly
sloppy poos are often contagous , so remove partner pig
Do not be dishartened it may take a wile to stop the sloppy poos, and even longer still to re establish tummy flora.
but it is doable !

sorry about spelling .

Thank you :) The thing is that I don't know which one even did it. I'll be out all day today so I can only monitor and try to notice anything wrong when I get home.

And it's fine.

Try separating them one at a time for an hour or so or until they poop, and then you should be able to see which one has loose poos.
One of my girls who sadly had to be pts went through this and she lived in a herd of 8, so you can imagine the separating process or till they passed something! worth it though to ensure healthy :)

I'll do that. One of the things I was going to do today was canceled, so I should have the time to look at all or at least one of them and if they do anything. I haven't seen anything similiar since though and they're all eating their pellets happily enough :)

@lawz I'm sorry to hear about your girl though, rip

thank you @CarnivalPiggy
wasnt due to tummy problems, just bad teeth...actually bad doesnt come close and neglect from previous owner and rescue...but hey ho...i tried my best to ensure the months i had her were happy and as comfortable as possible.
seperated mine when her deposits were a bit loose, so ide take her out every day and check to ensure meds were working and gut was still moving correctly
Its been one thing after another but its all a learning curve and better for it
