Did my bit for a little piggie

Ok so on sunday i went into wilsons pets, and in the corner of the pen was a little girly guinea pig and she only looked about 3weeks old :( anyway there were about 8 rabbits in there with her and they were jumping all over here and she was very very scared, they were stopping here from getting to her food and water, so i went up to a member of staff and told them the situation and demanded that they put they poor piggy in the top part of the hutch by herself with her own food and water, as i was one piggy to 8 rabbits and was really unfair on her.
anyway it took some doing but they finallly did what i requested and seperated her from the rabbits.
I'm so pleased that i helped her now hopefully she is getting some peace.
 
Well done Trudy! I've seen this in Petshops as well and its amazing how hard a rabbit can kick a pig without meaning too. Hope the little girl finds a loving home. x
 
Yeah me to i would have took her but i just couldnt risk having her with my five boys, the pet shop owner took me aside and said if i want to make a complaint write it down next time not say it in public, but i had to put my point accross. :(
 
What a dumbass! :D If you want to have your say have it. If you write it down and give it in nothing will be done and the little pig may have sustained injuries! :(
 
Good on you for telling them! Write it down?! You needed action then for the sake of the wee piggie not whenever they managed to take the time to read what you'd written and then do nothing about it.
 
good for you! why not say it in public and show the public you know more than the staff! maybe if they get embrassed enough they'll either lock the doors when they see you coming:D or they will take better care of their animals! i would have made a big scene about how young the wee thing was but like i said good for you! hoping she finds a loving home soon!
 
well done, as said above it you had filled in a complaints form who know if or when anything would of been done
 
yeah i know well i did make the lady go abit red and then as soon as i said it she got on the phone to head office to make a complaint,
i dont think I'm very welcome in there anymore, but if i see something like it again in there i will do exactly the same thing until they get the message.
 
Well done on doing this. A lot of others would have walked away.
 
Good on you for making a little pigs situation better.I hate petshops they have no empathy for the animals they sell
