Did you know it's spring?

Not spring down here in Wiltshire. The boys remain firmly embedded under hay piles without as much as an elderly popcorn, the fields are top of wellie deep in mud, the horses are just soaked and there’s a tornado forecast today 😱 Still, the daffodils are trying to come out 🥳

Could have fooled me, it's more like we have a new season called "monsoon" (except for the daffodils etc) :P
It's like that here and instead of a back garden I have a new water feature and a huge puddle on my front drive despite it constantly running out into the road after my OH put a channel in the drive. The pump has been in use again - for around 4 hours Saturday and 2 on Sunday last weekend just to get the water level down in the back garden.

I walked into the room earlier and Cam was in a carrot cottage and Bann eating from a hay pile a short distance away and just yelling at each other. No dominance displays, they weren't even looking at each other then, just yelling.

And by they, I mean mostly Cam. Bann joined in, but it was mostly Cam.

I figured they were a few years old now, and settled, so that's why they were calmer. My poor neighbours.

It didn't occur to me til last night when I was trying to work out what caused the chaos shift. Warmer air, brighter days, more sunshine...it's Spring!

I can't find anything else to blame. Physically they've not changed, and it's not like they're arguing. Just screaming at the wind. 🤨

Lots of rumble strutting here. Freddie is trying to take over dominance from Timmy, Timmy's not having it! It's time they grew out of this.

We've had torrential rain overnight and today, no sign of the forecast tornado's though. I like to watch them on youtube from the US, would rather not watch one from the window!
