That is mad
No wonder chuck loves it

Natures touch wild mountain hey
That is what it's called
My dictation has decided to work properly for a change

You can get it from pets at home it's quite expensive though it's 6 pounds per kilogram
Choc loves it

I believe the iphone was supposed to refer to a brand of hay that is called "nature catch wild mountain" and it has 40 different types of grass in the bale :))
Thanks Kelly, I'm a little tired with insomnia currently so I'm not running on full battery. I just couldn't get it in my head...heheee now I understand.:btt:

He doesn't get that all the time because I don't want him to get bored of it so I have other grasses that also go on rotation so he can't get bored with any of them
I'm one step ahead of his ever-changing taste buds

Sneaky...can't imagine him getting bored of 40 types of grass, cheeky furball!

If it's possible for chalk to get bored of something he will get bored of it

Well with 40 types of grasses he's at least bound to like some of them. I don't know what you will do if he decides he doesnt like the rest of them in the mix lol. My girls are fussy with hay.

Choc is very fussy about his high as well
Correction hey
I have four different types of pay available for him at all times and people think I'm mad
Correction hey sorry my iPhones dictation seems to be really crap this morning

My partner thinks I spend to much money on hay but they need it and I have to find one out there they like. At the moment they seem to be really liking the Burgess Excel timothy hay with birch bark even though they just eat around the bark. They are not to fond of timothy hay I feel except that brand. They love Oxbow's orchard grass though.

Autridge grass is something I haven't tried with Choc yet

We use hay bags for the fancy (aka expensive) hay.
They get the cheaper stuff in huge amounts in their hay trays, and then the rest in hay bags so they can't pee all over it!

I'm glad you said that - this is my sort of plan too! Did you buy your hay bags or make them?

I bought my hay bag off ebay. I'm not crafty so had to buy one lol. I put the expensive hay in the hay bags too, i was sick of chucking 3/4 of it away cos they wouldn't eat (just pull it out of the bowl and drag it all over their cage) it and it would end up a soggy mess. Strangely they will now eat more hay since I added it.

Choc loves foraging for he in a paper bag
I give him my old prescription paper bags from the chemist because I'm treated paper I do you love having fun with it mainly wrecking it though but never mind
Sorry for the wrong words my dictation is being rubbish again I hope my posts are still making sense though even if they have got the order wrong word in them

I gave mine some hay in a brown paper bag once but they just peed all over it and that night I had to chuck the bag in the bin cos it was soggy. Going to try again though now that they like hay more. At the moment they are loving upending their food bowls and making a newspaper cave out of the newspaper i put under them. Flicking poo everywhere for their slave to clean up later. Little sod's.
