Last night i found my little Princess fast asleep at the tender age of 3 months and 2 days old, was awful and something ill never ever forget. Although i couldnt check her myself I'm assured that she was ok no blood or anything but was stiff and was just horrific.

I keep asking why why why? I have no idea why her, her housemate is fine but will have an extra close eye kept on just to make sure. She was only a baby herself, plenty of food, water and hay, clean cage and it was too cold surely the 16 day old babies (not hers) would have been first to go?

R.I.P my little Princess, ill miss you and your beautiful little fringe!

I'm so sorry. Rest in peace little Princess.

I'm sure it wasn't due to the temperature so don't worry yourself thinking you could have prevented it.

So sorry to hear about the lovely Princess, she was just gorgeous. Unfortunately pigs sometimes die for what seems like no reason at all - could have been a weak heart (congenital) or all sorts of things that couldn't have been prevented. Don't blame yourself, sadly it's just one of those things.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Don't blame yourself (it's natural though, I did when Elora died) usually when it is sudden its a heart problem or something genetic. Perhaps princess was inbred. She looked perfect but inside she wasn't. ;(

I am so sorry for your loss, I hope Princess will be happy on Rainbow Bridge. I know how you're feeling at the moment, it's awful to go through but you gave her a good life in the short time that you had her. Sending lots of ((((((hugs))))))). xx
 
Don't blame yourself. Unfortunately, sometimes piggies do die very unexpectedly.

She was a princess ... I am sure that you have plenty of happy memories and photos for the short time she was with you.

Thank you, made me smile at such a sad time she was so beautiful and although i love all my piggies, she just had something 'special' about her
