One of my Piggies is 9 weeks the other is 5 weeks...I've had piggies for as long as I can remember but have always been adult rescues..so having them this young is all new to me.At the moment they are feeding on pellets, meadow hay for both bedding and nourishment,a mixture of veggies(Cucumber,Carrot,Apple, kale and a little Broccoli) I have also purchased some Woodlands Mini Alfalfa bales. As the bales are new to their digestive system I have popped only 1 sml block in the cage for them to share is this a good balanced diet for young growing Piggies?

I'll pop the link on for you re our food list....

When my girls were little they'd get : broccoli, cauliflower, small piece of beetroot (only 2-3 times a week), green beans, snow peas, red or green capsicum, small carrot and tops, broccoli leaves, cucumber, small piece of fruit usually canteloupe or seasonal ones like grapes (not every day tho)

Good idea for the alfalfa too :)

youngsters will eat exactly what mum has been eating, you could feed alfalfa hay aswell.
