Hi I have just noticed one of my females who has appeared to be having difficulty pooping they normally just slide right out but she was standing still for about five minutes trying to squeeze a few out and she seemed to be in pain! Any advice would be great thanks

Poor little thing, was she squeaking as she passed the poo? I would get her checked over by the vet, they will be able to check for anything that may be causing it and give some anti inflammatory for any pain. Make sure she is drinking so she is not dehydrated

Squeaking when pooing can be a sign of a UTI amongst other things, your vet will give her a good check over.

You can help your vet and you're pig , If you put her in a clean plastic cage base A couple of hours before you go to the vets, hopefully she will have wee,d

Collect the sample in a clean container and give it to your vet,

Much less stressful than drawing wee by a needle and cheaper !

The problem you're talking about could be a number of things, but a
Basic wee test by your vet would help determine whether or not it was a bladder type problem,
