Digby is off to the vets at 6.30pm tonight, he's got a penny sized lump that has come up quickly on his stomach towards his belly button. It's squishy and smooth so I am thinking a cyst but we've got to get it checked out. It isn't sore, red or painful yet which is a bonus!

We are all sending our best wishes to Digby from over here! Hope you get a good bill of health from the vet!
Please be okay darling little man!

Oh Poor gorgeous Digby. Please be a brave boy at vets & let the vet look at you thoroughly. I’ll be thinking of you & so will my 3 girls ( please be more brave than Cocoa Digby, she’s gets hopelessly scared)
Huge hugs & let us know how he gets on Ruth

Christian has a lump that came up fast where one of his plums would have been if he hadn't have visited the plum fairy. It came up in a week and is about 1" in diameter and has stayed the same for ages. I am keeping an eye on it. The vet said she didn't think it was anything sinister as it moved and she could get to feel all the way around it. When he has his weekly check I always make sure it has stayed the same. Have just done the weekly check on all of them. Christian's lump hasn't gone hard and he has gained 75g since last week so I don't think its bothering him. It bothers me though as its difficult to extract his willy to clean it!

We are just back from the vets and Digby is already eating his tea, couldn't give a monkeys! He had lots of cuddled from the pets at home staff and then the vet staff, a very popular boy! They couldn't get over how big and laid back he was.

Anyway, down to the lump! The vet is 100% sure what it is, but thinks it is highly likely to be a cyst of fatty lump. She's had a good look at it and it doesn't have any head or wounds near it to be thinking abscess. It's first but movable and not attached to anything underneath, just the skin on top. He's booked in for next Thursday (after Easter) to have it removed but we are on strict watch for any changes. If it does change or grow at all he will go straight in to have it removed then. We don't think it is anything sinister but when it gets removed it will be sent to the lab for testing.

Digby was a model patient and as it isn't causing him any trouble or pain at the moment he's not been given any meds. I have opted to have it removed on the vets advice as it is on the lowest part of his stomach and I don't want it to get cut or rubbed. Plus having it removed when it is small is better than seeing if it grows any than it ending up being a bigger surgery.

Thank you for your thoughts everyone, Digby and I really do appreciate it, you really all are my second family. I will keep everyone up to date on his progress!

Good thing they are getting it removed. Hope everything goes well!

Digby looks like he’s bagged himself a new job.... :)) he looks so at home on the vets reception!
He’s seriously handsome tonight
So glad his lump isn’t sinister that’s great news. A good idea to get it removed though.
Well done Digby, please let my girls into the secret of how you remain so relaxed at the vets....
Hugs x
