Digby is now at home with me he is on baytril and is looking good. He is happily running around his indoor cage at the moment I think I may have even seen some popcorning!

Only one sad thing is while I was picking him up a man waited for everyone to leave but I couldnt because they had gone to collect Digby for me, he started chatting nice as pie to the lady behind the desk about the dog he had with him he then went on to say it had a eye infection (none that I could see) and the lady said are ou going to take him around to the vet? I think he expected them to pay for it so he jsut said "Well if you aint gonna sort it out I dont want the dog!" and left it there and walked out :'( :'( :'( I was nearly crying this poor dog didnt know what was going on I nearly brought her home myself hubby said I should have! When I got to the car park I shouted at him that he should be ashamed of his self (with a few other naughty words) for the way he went about dumping the dog he didnt need to make such a fuss!! :'( :'(

Re: Digby has Arrived!

thats awful, glad you gave him a piece of your mind!

Re: Digby has Arrived!

That's horrible. Did he go back to get it? If he didn't at least the dog was dumped in the right place, not at the edge of the motorway, another unsuitable, dangerous place or abandoned the dog in the woods or something like that. Sorry you had to see this on what should be a happy day and good on you for telling him won't a piece of scum he is. How is Digby? :)

Re: Digby has Arrived!

He is ok just a tiny bit of runny poo which i assume is normal seeing as he has just had a op and travelled in the car with a mad swearing woman ;)

Re: Digby has Arrived!

How horrible! I would've been the same as you!

But hey! You got your little man! how is he doing?

That's good news. If you make an enquiry about the dog let us know. O0

Well I rang them and they said the man had just dumped the dog and he was very abusive to the staff. He had only had her for 6 weeks he had been home checked and everything, they thought he was ok. The dog is a little stressed but ok and they will find her a new home she will not be going back to him under any circumstances even if he turns up today and says yesterday was a mistake he will NEVER be adopting an animal from them again. I guess if they do find anything wrong with her over the next few days he could be done for animal cruelty as they have his address on file I think the way he dumped her should qualify for animal cruelty stupid idiot! I may ring again in a week just to see how she is I do hope someone adopts her soon!

Poor dog, hopefully she will get a nice home soon. :( Has this RSPCA centre got a website? They may have a picture of her on there. :)
