Hi so lost one of my piggy's in march, I decided it was time to contact a rescue about hopefully getting a new friend for my pig
I sent a message through Facebook to a rescue (there preferred method of contact) but its been 12 days now and Ive had no response
I did send another message the other day saying I understand there busy but just wanted to check they got my message.
I have adopted from them 2 years ago but I'm worried they might be reluctant to reply as last time I was looking adopt (early 2020) I had to cancel a piggy date with them as a suitable pig came up at another rescue, that's also why I'm reluctant to contact somewhere else yet as I don't want to make commitments to different places
I'm not trying to rush things and I no adoption can take time but if they don't have any loan boars for adoption it would be good to no so I can contact somewhere else.
I was just looking at the blue cross website and they have a boar that could be suitable for us, unsure if I should contact them about him or do I wait for the rescue to get back to me.
Advice appreciated thanks

Have you looked at our Recommended Rescue locator? here’s the link good luck, let us know how you get on Rescue Locator

Ideally you need to find a rescue who offers boar dating so your boy can choose someone he likes

:agr:

Also, do you use Facebook? Sometimes rescues pick up their Facebook messages rather than emails.
