We've had our two boys since Xmas last year, but at the moment we're having a nightmare with bedding.
Since we got them, we have used fleecy blankets with newspaper underneath. The only problem is that we rent a one bedroom flat and when we wash the blankets, the hay and dirt clogs up the filter in the washing machine really easily. We've ended up calling the landlords loads of times to send plumbers out to fix the blocked filter. But now, the filter handle has come off and the landlord is refusing to send someone out to fix it again.
This means we cannot wash the blankets in the washing machine anymore as it means it will be out of use for our normal washing!
Tonight we've tried switching to wood shavings and newspaper instead, but I'm not happy with the result and don't think it's as good for my little piggles.
Any suggestions as to what we could try instead as it's quite annoying now, and I just want my boys to be cosy!
