Hello!
I have noticed that sometimes Bella gets a dirty bum with poop , is this normal.? I do clean when I notice it and its never too dirty, just sometimes .

@LittleGems Not really. Sometimes it does get caught in their hair if they have long hair but it's usually a sign of a problem. Maybe there's something in her diet that's upsetting her.

That's not normal unless, as @Jaycey has already said, it sometimes gets caught in long hair. How long has it been going on for? I would pop your piggie to the vet just to be on the safe side. Are her poops normal?

Hi @LittleGems
I know sometimes Bella has misshapen poos.
But do you mean the poo is mushy and getting caught around her back end, OR is her back end hair just dirty looking but with no actual poo caught up?

Is this the same piggy that has been having runny poops on and off?

Thank you guys,
So yes, bell aides sometimes get soft poop ( not runny! ) but I goes away the next day after taking her off veggies. Her bum isn’t sticky with poo or anything, just some days it’s a little dirtier than others. Maybe just by the poop in her cage or hay and other stuff

No I’m not completely sure but it might just be her sitting on wee and it getting dried up or something, I’m really not sure .
