How can I keep my boys bums clean?

They are checked daily and Fangs bum and winkie aren't to bad, just the odd bit of straw or sawdust pokig out but Franks can get very dirty. He usually has a piece of straw or sawdust stuck in his winkie and there is always some in his bum and it STINKS >>>

Do I just keep checking and cleaning everyday?
Frank is now aware what happens at bed time and as soon as I pick him up into position he does like it

Unfortunately boars just get dirty bums and it's something us piggy slaves just have to put up with !

The only thing you can do is keep a good check on cleaning it regularly, however a bedding like fleece will help reduce the amount that gets stuck in there as i know how much of a pain getting sawdust out of a piggy bum can be !

I've tried fleece but I just dont get on with it. I'm abit of a clean freak and I hate seeing straw stuck to it lol

Its because boars are forever dragging there bottoms around to scent mark. Ditto is a pain for it. I to do not like fleece and ditto is on wood shavings and hay, all i can advise is to keep on top of it and so not allow it to build up to much.

its not just boars who get dirty bums, my bumble likes to spend all day pushing her lovely fluffy white butt into her own filth.... I'm tempted to make nappies for her lol

You can clean their bottoms using cotton buds dipped in baby oil. I do this to my boar and he stays clean for a few days.
