dirty ears ! info needed please

hi all,one of my boys has what seems like dirty ears,well inside one of his ears has a waxy/crusty substance,there is no white dusty stuff on the outside so i dont think its fungal and he is not scratching like mad so i dont think its mites. its not too bad and i will be cleaning it tonight. now i have some surolan at hand,would i use that or clean with salt water ?
any help please

I would use surolan if you have it as it takes care of any problems in case there are any. Best of luck - my piggies HATE ear cleaning!
 
thanks,i was thinking that would be best,is it just one drop for pigs in the ear ?
 
Yeah. Leave it to work for a few minutes and then gently clean the muck out.
 
done,and yes he hated every second of it !!
ill keep an eye on him and clean whenever needed now !

I think all piggies hate having their ears cleaned! All of mine get so cross when I do it.
 
Believe it or not, Dindy is so cooperative when it's time to clean her ears out.
 
mine looked at me as if to say"what the *^$k do you think your doing "

poor little hahaha
