My guinea pig has recently had surgery to treat malocclusion and is on baytril as prescribed by the vet. However he still isn't eating after a week and has a thick yellowish white discharge in his mouth, we believe he has a throat infection or lymph node infection. He is a fairly old pig at age 5 but he still isn't eating and just slightly picks at his food trying to eat. Please help me out here.

My first thought is oral thrush which would need to be treated with an anti-fungal medication, it can be caused by a build up of food in the mouth. Is he on any pain relief?
