After I lost my baby Moo bear yesterday from an unknown infected mass (when the surgery was supposed to be for pyrometra) one of my other girls had a creamy, a little sticky discharge today. I don’t recall it having a smell. She is currently eating and drinking normally. I am freaking out that it’s another infection and I don’t know what I would do. already have a vet appointment on Tuesday.
But just curious, if a piggy is in heat is there a chance for them to have any vaginal discharge?

Thank you for your quick response. Now we find out if that discharge is UTI or another pyometra in which case idk if I could afford it right after paying for another one 🥺 if I need to I’ll make it work. Because I can’t imagine losing another

Does this look like blood or oxidized urine?

The vet said this was oxidised wee from when my Rainbow Piggie Velvet had bladder issues.

Still monitoring her today. No more discharge, no more blood events. But after the tragedy that just happened with my last piggie I want her to be checked out

However an amazing chance of fate happened and I came into a little piggie this weekend. She is a little baby still. In honor of my rainbow bridge baby, Moo.
