Very strange... very popular in Japan, too, not just for piggies but dogs and cats, too.

I seriously think Cobweb would have me if I tried to dress him.. not my thing at all!
 
One of the books I bought in preparation for getting Meg and Lou has a chapter about dressing up pigs. I was shocked and annoyed. I can't believe that in this day and age there are still people who will do such silly things.

A pig is cute and beautiful enough in it's own fur without us putting them in stupid costumes. :tickedoff:
 
there is somebody who sells capes for guinea on ebay over here ive seen them on various searches ive done, id never dress my pig up!

Grr I hate things like that. It looks far too small for the piggie. His head looks why bigger than his body because he's been squeezed in that coat. There's no need for it and I would be so worried about hurting my piggies trying to put clothes on them. It's not natural so why do it?! I don't think it looks cute, it's just wrong.

but i do know of a girl in the US who is well known for dressing up her guineas, and they actually are not stressed about it .... i've seen the piccies honestly (she's been on US TV etc..... i think)

I can't cause Duke goes 'totally ape droppings' err crazy i tried to do a Christmas shoot with props.... what a total disaster >:( ooo he was not not impressed >:( >:( >:(
yet i know of other people that their guineas will sit thru a photo shoot with props and not worry
 
how daft,, surely it harms the piggies limbs when trying to put the sleeves over.. very stupid idea.

Think their fur will keep them warm enough!
