Disgusting Petshop.! Furious

Drove past a petshop that had budgies outside the front door in their cages.
Thought it was weird because anyone could of come past and stole them.!
So went in there, it was so smelly looked at the guinea pigs. They had 6 adult male guinea pigs in one indoor cage. No hay. BUt they did have a bowl of food. In the next cage they had 4 adult female guinea pigs and 2 female rabbits(Not fully grown) in the same size cage. They were all scratching 2 of them had bold patches on their backs.
Grrr >>> makes me feel sick how a petshop that should care about animals could treat them like this. Whats the need.! Not sure if I'm allowed to name and shame on here otherwise i definatly would.!

Please contact your local RSPCA or council. Pet shops like this need to be closed down!

As for naming and shaming, I don't think the forum likes members doing it as you never know who is watching.

Poor little things, grrr makes me >>>
There's a small pet shop I pass on my way home and always pop in - the guy knows I have rescue piggies and I check up on the buns and piggies although he only ever has two at one time...:red

so how would i go about contacting the council and The RSPCA? Just phone them and explain the situation? And do the same for the council?

I would call and email them asap - can you get some 'discreet' pics on your phone - say you are looking for piggies for someone you know if you get spotted :x
I would contact both explaining the things you have seen and are upset that these animals are not being cared for.
It is illegal to sell a pregnant or sick animal...how can they not notice bald patches mallethead

Ok, dont normally drive past that way. Was just out in the town.
Will try and go next weekend. The bold patches are really noticable aswell. I wasnt looking hard to find fault. Anyone could see them.
Disgusting.
Looking at them mine are treated like kings.!
