Hi guys

i dont know if ill get told off for saying this but i bought some lotion from the gorgeous guinea range from the hay experts last monday. i got an email wednesday to say it had been dispatched first class. Havnt had it through the post yet, i emailled them saturday and they said it must be the royal mail but that doesnt help me when I'm waiting on it for craigs face (fungal infection currently using cannestan). Some people may say its my own fault for not choosing the courier service option but at no point was i advised to (until iv told them that i havent received it) Anyway i thought it might of come today and it hasnt so iv given up hope. i was going to buy the manuka shampoo today as well as i want to bath them at weekend but iv kind of been put off now.... I'm not calling hay experts I'm sure it will be the royal mail but it doesnt help me does it, iv lost out. its a shame when you cant rely on services... how dissapointing :x i know its only some lotion but its not sumat you can get at pets at home.

I've had several orders from the Hay Experts, and all have arrived quickly.

Sadly, Royal Mail do lose a lot of mail though! It can't be classed as missing until 21 days after posting, so if it doesn't turn up by then, the Hay Experts will be able to refund your money.
 
well i tried to buy from gorgeous guineas directly and Krissie is on jury service until the end of this month so on the website it directs you the the hayexperts for uk customers. By the way krissie has been most helpful and kind when i sent her an email asking her about the skin condition craig has.

thank you for that, yes I'm sure its not the hay experts ... but it puts you off buying anything else doesnt it. i really want that shampoo so i might give it a go, really wanted the lotion though to.
 
The trouble is once items leave the company it is in the hands of the courier or mail service and really isn't the fault of the company if it doesn't get to you as planned. It is sent out in good faith that the company will deliver.

We get irate and quite abusive customers at times who blame US for not getting it to them quicker. Some even order after midnight on a Friday night and expect it in the post the next day?/. We had one lady who bought some critical care from us then reported us to Paypal the following day because it had not arrived and her Guinea Pig had died, which she tried to blame us for. Well I'm sorry if this sounds harsh but if the animal is THAT ill take it to a vet, please dont try and self medicate and wait for something to arrive in the post whilst the animal is suffering and then blame us for things going wrong.

Hopefully your goods will turn up soon.

Good grief! That's terrible. If your guinea is that poorly that they need critical care you need to source it straight away! I buy it online as a precaution in case I need it one day.

How's it going with the canestan? Any improvement?

I can vouch for the melt and shampoo - my Flopsy is better. Her hair is all growing back beautifully after using it.
 
I'm not that harsh :)) iv taken the boys to the vets already he told me cannestan should clear it. I was just excited about the cream. i know its not their fault. its the royal mail, but still it puts you off buying. I wouldnt be rude or abusive to people over it. Just dissapointed :(

ye looks a little better, skin gone pink now, i was a bit concerned about using cannestan at first as his skin went quite red but the day after had calmed down... he going back vets wednesday so I'm hoping it looks a little better then, thanks for asking xx
