So for a while now I've been making these flavored wood blocks for my piggies. They go crazy for them and I'm planning on making a ton of them over the summer. I thought I'd share how I make them in case any of you guys want to try it.
First I started out by getting 1x1 strips of untreated wood. I then use my table saw to cut the whole thing into little cubes. After, I'll work on the flavoring. Usually I'll either do strawberry, raspberry, or orange. The oranges have a lot more juice so they're way easier to use, but my pigs seem to like the strawberry a lot more. I'll mash the fruit up and strain the seeds and what not out of it. Then, I'll soak the wood cubes in the juice for about 10 minutes or so. After I'm happy with them, I'll let them dry overnight. They have a nice dyed look to them and the pigs love them! Would recommend trying!
