Hi!

I would like to bake my piggies some piggie special treats. Unfortunately I dont have any oats so baked treats with out oats would be great. 5 star piggie treats for VIGPs! lol.

Any recipes for lovely piggie treats would be greatly appreciated:) Many thx

Right now I'm making my own treats and I'm wandering if this is safe for my piggies

-mash guinea pig nuggets until powder
-add fav veggies or fruit in tiny pieces
-add 5ml vitamin C powder
-add tiny little strands of hay
-mix together then seive
-make small balls using little water to stick
-place in preheated oven at 120oC
-Cook for 01.30.00 mins

your piggies are so adorable. I hope my piggies like them. They are in the oven now and I'm just tidying up with all the piggie nugget mess lol. Btw I watch your vids and i subbed :)

Aww thank you! Hah yeah it is a bit messy, the smell is slightly odd but kind of appealing too haha!

Erm they were just Tesco value oats like you get to put in your cereal! If you properly dry them out they should last for a while like the dehydrated treats you buy in the shops, however I wasn't sure mine were totally de hydrated therefore if some moisture left I wasn't sure they'd last much longer than cooked vegetables so I'd say max of 3 days!

Let them completely cool out on a plate so they don't get soggy from condensation like they would if you put them in a tub hot. Then when they are cool put them in a tub :)

I make my piggies a garland. Which they LOVE. They even fight over it.
